  • Identifying how and where ableism exists in our schools

  • Exploring 5 ways to disrupt ableism at work, including the assumptions we make, the language we use, and the actions we take

  • Embracing personal, interpersonal, and structural actions to disrupt ableism

Enact Allyship at Work

2:25 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Lunenburg Room

Participants will explore actionable strategies to enhance allyship in schools, including:

  • Defining allyship, privilege, and positional power

  • Exploring the active allyship framework

  • Using scenarios to practice the allyship framework and identify allyship actions
