An introduction to the Resilient Youth approach, exploring how educators and youth-serving professionals can intentionally build resilience in the young people they support.
Adapted from the two-day Resilient Youth Educator Certification and curriculum manual, this session introduces the four pillars of resilience: self-awareness, mental wellbeing, connection, and purpose. Participants will explore trauma-informed strategies and activities that can be brought directly into classrooms and youth-serving spaces.
Blending psychology, lived experience, youth voice, and evidence-informed practice, this session is designed to answer the question: How do we equip young people with the skills to navigate the challenges they will inevitably face?
